| I was born in Sweden 1978 and I have spent about 1/3 of my life abroad. Now, I am back in Sweden and based in Stockholm.
My university studies has taken me to Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa, USA, Hokkaido Daigaku, Sapporo, Japan and the Friends World Program, Long Island University in Kyoto, Japan and London, UK. Since my first job as a staff photographer at the university paper (1998) in USA, I have come to learn a lot about the profession. I have had the opportunity to work with important clients and I have experienced the thrill of working under pressure. While living and studying in Kyoto I had an internship in advertisement photography. During 8 months I learned how to use studio equipment, lighting techniques, medium format cameras and how to professionally relate to and work with clients. In London I worked for a few years as a freelance photographer. In November 2003 I started my own company, "Jonas Borg Photography". Since then I have worked for several big daily newspapers in Sweden, Japan and the UK. I have also had a number of other Swedish and international clients ranging from magazines and fashion-shows to corporate portraits and event organisations. I am always looking for work opportunities and I try to be very flexible when it comes to hours and locations. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
